Obituaries serve as a reminder of the finality of life for all of us, but for a family member it serves as a bittersweet reminder of the life of their loved one and helps us to grieve and celebrate the many joys of their life on this earth. We must not forget, however, that as a believer of Christ we all join in his resurrection from the dead. For he has given each of us the gift of eternal life with him forever.
